Buenos Aires, January 1 (NA) – Hours before welcoming 2026, former footballer Maxi López and his partner Daniela Christiansson celebrated the arrival of their son Lando with an emotional social media post. According to the Argentine News Agency, the birth took place in Switzerland, where the former footballer decided to spend the end of the year with his family. Maxi López announced the birth of Lando, his fifth child. Minutes later, the MasterChef participant surprised his followers with a statement announcing a temporary retirement from social media to fully focus on his family and his new son, Lando. Through his Instagram stories, López wrote: “Hello everyone! Due to the arrival of Lando in the coming days, I am going to dedicate myself to being with my family and enjoying time with them”. To not neglect his business commitments, he clarified that his profiles will not be inactive, but will be managed by third parties: “That’s why I will be a bit away from social media and will leave it in the hands of my team”. Before saying goodbye, he mentioned his upcoming projects for this year and wished everyone a happy holiday: “Have a nice end of the year and may 2026 bring you many good things! We will be seeing each other very soon in Olga and we have a year of many new projects ahead and I hope you will accompany me. Thank you all and happy year!”
